Sonos introduces new app
by Volker Weber
Today, we’re bringing our learning from the past ten years, and our belief on what will happen over the next ten years to bear, as we introduce a brand new app experience. Available for phones and tablets this spring (Android owners can try it today), the new app offers an array of new features that make it easier to find and listen to your music the way you want.
Available on Android as a beta today. Will be released on iOS later. Reason: you cannot scale up a beta program on iOS due to Apple restrictions.

Etwas mehr holo würde der Android APP gut tun. Und Googple Play.
Trotzdem in willkommenes update.
Oh, nice. I am not aware that I have a Sonos account yet though. ;) Maybe it's time to look up my credentials.
Jean-Marc, ich finde die ziemlich schick, aber auf dem Tablet noch nicht optimal. Und Play? Das Ökosystem wächst gerade im Affenzahn. Warten wir mal ab ...
Daniel, Du hast Dein Sonos registriert. Das ist die ID.
Exciting news - I'm on iPhone so can't try it. I hope Spotify Radio is finally there. And then I hope they have finally fixed the 3 year old sorting bug in the controller.
Spotify Radio is not a controller issue, but needs to be added by Spotify. Once this controller get into production however, there will be new ways to make this happen.
What is the sorting bug?
Hold it, Hans. Found your comment http://vowe.net/archives/014028.html#c063235
Still missing an app for BlackBerry 10. Or even a working sideloaded Android App.
I'm hoping all this development leads to a native Windows Phone App soon. A lack of this app, Nest, and gTar keep me holding onto my iPhone. gTar will never happen, Roost is ok for Nest, but Phonos doesn't really cut it for me.
Ralph, there will be no BlackBerry app. And Reid, yes, it will lead to a WP app, but not with this spring release. I bet on summer.
