Instagram Hyperlapse

Ich bin kein App-Junkie, aber ab und zu kommt ein Programm, an dem ich sofort großen Spaß habe und das ich dann nicht mehr missen möchte. Instagram Hyperlapse ist so eine Software.
Hyperlapse nutzt die Bewegungssensoren, um ein Video elektronisch zu stabilisieren. Dazu hat es noch einen Zeitraffer, mit dem man das Video nachträglich beschleunigen kann. Einfach ausprobieren, die Bedienung ist supersimpel. Man kann das Ergebnis sharen, man muss aber nicht.
Und bitte, Handy im Querformat. Damit kann man echt mehr anfangen. ;-)
Microsoft baut auch sowas, hat es aber noch nicht fertig. Und Microsoft nimmt einen anderen Weg. Dort werden die Bilder analysiert, was für ein Smartphone viel zu aufwändig ist. Hier geht es also um Nachbearbeitung.

The Videos look pretty promising. Just downloaded the app. Need to try to see if my results can keep up with the ads...
Tried it and as always the ads show the optimal result (I assume the used at least something like the xshot monopod for further stabilization). But anyway - even the free hand results have a remarkably good quality.
The only downside is that it - for some reason - doesn't do well in low light areas.
I tried it first at home with artificial light. While normal video apps get still decent results this one was was very dark (but you get warned by the app when you start recording).
But beside that it's a fun app that gives room for some new creativity.

Hatte heute morgen den Arbeitsweg gehyperlapst. Die iPhone-Kamera kam aber überhaupt nicht klar mit dem Helligkeitsabgleich, nachdem ich aus der Garage gefahren war. Infolgedessen war das ganze Video ein heller, weisser Matsch. Das nächste Mal die Aufnahme erst im Hellen starten.
