My Version of Lotusphere

Eugen Tarnow  July 11 2012 02:59:09 PM
I just noticed that the Microsoft Exchange Conference is back.  According to its home page one of the topics they will cover is the " mysterious disappearance" of the conference.

I think Lotusphere sort of disappeared as well in the sense that the conference is not that much about Lotus Notes any more.

What would I like to see?  My kind of Lotusphere would be all about Lotus Notes.  It would include administration and development, no surprise there.  But it would also include business consulting:  sessions by business department as to what Lotus Notes can and did for various companies.  Where the administrative edge one can get from using Lotus Notes works and when it does not and why.  The presenters would be the big consultants: McKinsey, PwC, Ernst & Young, etc.  The ones billing $3-400 per hour, not the Indian outsourcing companies billing $25 per hour.

Perhaps that would give Lotus Notes back the prestige it deserves.

The ReduceMail Pro team is very excited give our full attention to all companies who use Notes mail.
