BlackBerry 10 OS 10.3.1 Arrives

I am currently installing on Passport, Classic, Q10, Z10, Z30 followed by P'9982 and P'9983. Maybe I should try the Q5 and the DevAlpha as well. Just for kicks.

It started promisingly. I downloaded and installed ca. 1GB on my Q10 but immediately after that it asked for another update of a further 1.5GB claiming that I would need an additional 777MB of free space although I had freed already 3.5GB. Frustrating...
Same here, the second update (1,5 GB) claims that it would need 390 MB additional free space.
Free Storage on the Q5 3,8 GB. Not good!
Add an SD card and move some media over? Download with BB Link, update, and then re-upload?
Done at last. Very excited. BB OS updates always bring loads of useful new features for everyday use. I mostly enjoy little things like multiple alarm times or the FM radio in 10.2 or now in 10.3.1 to be able to fill app folders endlessly or recording videos and taking pictures at the same time. Well done, BlackBerry!
Update auf dem Z10 gestern vollzogen. Akkuleistung mehr als halbiert, ich kann der Anzeige beim Schmelzen zusehen. Kennt das Problem noch jemand?
Hallo Nils, das dauert bei OS-10 Updates immer 1-2 Tage nach einem solchen Update bis sich der Energieverbrauch normalisiert hat. Ich vermute da wird im Hintergrund noch "aufgeräumt und indiziert". Ab dem dritten Tag sollte die Akkuauslastung im Gerätemonitor wieder die gewohnten Werte anzeigen.
Mein Z10 fühlt sich nach dem Update an, als hätte er Schlaftabletten geschluckt :-(
Das wird besser. 10.3.1 ist schneller als das, was Du hattest. Er ist noch am Aufräumen.
Bei mir sind die Updates super durchgelaufen (Q10 und Passport). Bzgl. dem Speicherproblem scheint man wohl bei BlackBerry aufmerksam geworden zu sein: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB36394
Hier alles im grünen Bereich. Die Akkuleistung meines Q10 scheint sogar noch besser geworden zu sein, bin trotz durchschnittlichen Gebrauchs (Wifi + Bluetooth, 2x 5min. telefonieren, emails, Settings, sogar 15 Minuten Schrittzähler und 2x Youtube über externen Bluetooth Lautsprecher) nach über 4 Stunden noch immer bei 91%. Performance ist unauffällig, also nicht langsamer als zuvor. Nur an die kleinen Icons werden sich meine altersschwachen Augen erst noch gewöhnen müssen.
This little workaround solved my problem: make a backup, securitywipe the phone, update and restore data.
@Volker Weber Unfortunately there was nothing more to move to SD card or delete. Done this before. But thanks anyway.
