Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter firmware update

Today I run into an issue connecting my MacBook to a projector using my Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter.

When switching in Powerpoint to presentation mode, the projector screen started intermittent flickering.

To get this one fixed, I need to apply a firmware update for my DisplayPort to VGA Adapter. Not kidding... Yes, I had to patch my VGA adapter :-(

This firmware update addresses possible intermittent flickering and compatibility issues. In some cases those issues may include no video on some external monitors when using the Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter with your Mini DisplayPort-enabled Mac.
