Registered for IBM Connect 2016
by Volker Weber
Conference registration is confirmed. Now we are ironing out the travel details. If all goes well I shall be arriving Saturday night and return at the end of the conference.
I count this as my 20th Lotusphere in Orlando. How about you? Do you still call it Lotusphere?
Comments
yes, sometimes I still call it Lotusphere (missing the old backpacks)
my 10th or so
I always gave those away. The only bag that I kept was the yellow messenger bag from Lotus DevCon in San Francisco. Best conference bag ever! Unfortunately, it fell apart within a year. Oh, and I should have the messenger bag from Lotusphere 1997.
Yip, still call it LotuSphere :o) Never keep the old backpacks, this is also my 10th or so as well :o) Even went to one in Berlin when they where still held in Europe a couple of years back!
I still call it Lotusphere, too. I had 11 (or so) but my last was 2014. Loved it.
Worked with those things between 1999 and 2012. Sadly never got to leave the (small) country for them.
I still call it Lotusphere and i been there since 2001 in Orlando and one in Berlin (the European version ;-) ). See you!
We generally refer to it as !LS (geeks). Flying in Friday evening: see you there!
I still often call it Lotusphere, or (when around geeks) !LS.
This will be my 20th time too, once in Europe (Nice 1997) and then from 1998 and onwards in Orlando.
See you in Orlando, Volker!
Yes, generally call it Lotusphere, for that is what it is. Or !ls, of course.
1997 in Nice, 2000 in Berlin, then 2007 onwards. So 14th, if you include the European ones.
Have fun!
I still call it Lotusphere, and it's the second to miss this year.
DevCon 99 @ Moscone Convention Center - San Francisco: second half of June 1999
Special Event: Palace of fine arts
It was near the Moscone Convention Center but not at the Moscone Convention Center. That year Linus Torvalds was the keynote speaker.
