Microsoft does not know what Microsoft knows

I am now on the Fast Ring of Windows Insider builds for the Surface 3. And I am already liking what they are doing with ink. Part of the process is a Windows update, and Microsoft once again installed all the crapware that I had previously removed. 3D Builder, Solitaire Collection, Get Office, etc.
First thing that happens:
Push message. Into notifications. Fcuking advertisement. For a product that I am already subscribed to. On the same Windows account that I logged in with Windows. Don't fear Microsoft. They have no idea what they are doing.

Hat schon wer errechnet, wie viel Lebenszeit und Nerven die Menschheit durch Windows verloren hat?
Bill Gates bemüht sich zwar durch seine Philanthropie um Buße und Wiedergutmachung, doch die Quelle des Übels ist ja noch nicht versiegt.
Fast jedes Mal, wenn ich mit Windows zu tun hatte, war ich danach verärgert oder in meinem Zeitplan unter Druck.
Ich nutze es jetzt nur noch in der Virtualisierung für einen begrenzten Bereich, in dem ich keine Alternative dazu habe. Ansonsten meide ich es.
Und die Hilferufe derjenigen, die ihm noch ausgeliefert sind, versuche ich zunehmend zu ignorieren. Das ist nicht mein Job; sollen sie Support bezahlen oder sich endlich einen Mac kaufen. ;-)

Ich finde Windows gut. Aber es ist schon schwach, was Microsoft hier mit der Giesskanne abliefert. Und Werbung im Notification Center ist allerhand.

MS are doing lots of cool things, but then they screw up the small stuff. Like IBM and the rest, they’re too big.
Case in point: I’ve been struggling to get virtual machine access in Azure for three weeks now, and we’re no closer to resolution: MSDN knows nothing about Azure and vice versa (and support are clueless).
Trust me, Ben, even Sonos is already too big.
My bank keeps sending me loan offers (at extortionate rates) while at the same time I have significant savings with the same bank (of course at laughable rates).
This problem of different functions not talking to each other is universal.
