Here we go again
by Volker Weber
Installed the latest update and the Microsoft Crapware is back. You have one week to get the new advertising platform Windows 10 for free. That is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will never come back, I'm sure.

Checked;" OK to install on laptop"
Win 10 took a day and a night to install on an old Win 7 Pro laptop.
Ran once, then never again - just a greyish lit screen.
MS retail store in US said 3 weeks to install for me.
F8 Safemode brought up some Win 10 panel choices.
Uninstall was unintuitive because Starting again ran for several hours.
Could not revert from the Win 10 panel.
Starting to close down, Revert came up again as a line at the bottom of the screen.
Worked!
Reverted to Win 7 Pro.
Same as Marc for me. I simply don't have that problem. No games, no "get office", no 3D Builder, only a handful useless apps I can't seem to uninstall (XBox etc). There seems to be a difference between version who gets spammed with what.
You can fight the windmill with Powershell.
DISM /Online /Get-ProvisionedAppxPackages
gives you a list of all the installed crapware. And the command
DISM /Online /Remove-ProvisionedAppxPackage /PackageName:PACKAGENAME
will remove any package you want removed, including the Xbox crapware. Until Windows 10 decides you are missing out. Just run your script again.
You have to restart to see the full effect.
