1-UP, 2-UP, PARTY-UP

The Ultimate Ears BOOM speakers are wildly successful amongst kids. And today they received a very cool update: instead of pairing two speakers for stereo that kids don't really care for, you can now add as many speakers as you want. Ultimate Ears says "more than 50", but that is unlikely to happen. But when you get together, everybody can bring their speaker and then link them all together. The UI is very simple. The UE BOOM (or MEGABOOM) app on your phone shows other speakers it discovers in a drawer at the bottom and you just pull them up. Disconnecting is as simple: just put them back in the drawer. The cool thing is that the speaker does not even have to be on. It can discover them via BT Low Energy and then turn them on as needed.

What I really like is that you don't have to have the latest and greatest. It works with the original BOOM, the BOOM 2 and MEGABOOM. The ROLL and ROLL2 speakers are left out right now, but I bet they will join later.

Nein, anderer Use Case.
