No Airpods for Xmas?

My expectations was that Airpods would be the hottest Xmas item. However, Apple has delayed the launch and everything that is not available at Black Friday misses the holiday season. It's a hard decision, but also one that Sonos has made time and again. Don't ship shit!

Ich halte von dem Design eh nicht viel: die Standardkopfhörer mit Kabel halten bei mir nicht besonders gut im Ohr und klingen mittelprächtig. Ich habe mir ein paar gute BT-InEars gekauft (Teufel Move BT). Aber ich bin sicher man wird bald eine Menge Apple Fanboys mit Airpods im öffentlichen Nahverkehr sehen sobald sie verfügbar sind. Und auf ebay und sonstwo beginnt ein blühender Handel mit einzelnen Airpods (L oder R) die jemand verloren hat ...
Ich habe die verschiedenen Konzepte ja schon mal geschrieben, und die Bauart Deiner Teufel In-Ears gibt es ja von verschiedenen Herstellern. Mir gefällt dieses Design.
Ich habe bei der Vorstellung des iPhone 7 auch die Airpods probiert und ich fand sie super. Es ist mir nicht gelungen, sie aus dem Ohr zu kriegen, ohne sie mit den Finger rauszuziehen und man steckt sie sofort in diese kleine Schachtel. Die fühlt sich gut an und die Airpods "klicken" da auch magnetisch rein. Auch der Klang hat mir in diesem sehr kurzen Test gut gefallen. So richtig kann ich das aber erst sagen, wenn ich sie mal ein paar Stunden getragen habe.
Ich bin vorsichtig optimistisch, dass mir die Airpods gut gefallen.
I am disappointed they are not available yet - and I am sure once they go on sale they will be an immediate hit within the Apple Hipster movement.
For me these new Airpods would be my "normal use" headphones and my old Bose QC20's would remain my trains/planes and automobiles headphones.
Yes, that is a good plan. They are not powerful enough to be used on planes or in car, and they also do not provide isolation.
right now i'm thinking about bluetooth headphones for running.
my plan was to wait for these and to test if they fall out during running.
now, i'm looking at the jaybird x2 (they become less expensive once the x3 are out).
@Matthias for running or any other kind of sport that includes excessive sweating conditions I would recommend the Sony SBH70. They are certified IP57 and are lasting now longer than any other headphone I had in the past. At least for my use cases.
For the normal "every day usage", I do have the AirPods on my preferred list.
