Companies with Lotus Notes mail and Lotus Domino applications, often have many folders. When a user deletes a folder, the administrator has to restore the entire mail file or application from backup. Simply copying the folder from backup will not work, while folders only contain pointers to documents or emails.
With the Folder Restore tool, developed by Lialis, this problem is solved. The tool stores the folder structure from each mail file and/or application, determined in the configuration document in the FRT application. When a folder is deleted, the administrator can restore the folder from the FRT application, by just clicking the restore button.
V2.0
While the application was downloaded many times, we decided to develop a Folder Restore tool v2.0. One of the main improvements is that the folder scan agent run time is much shorter.
