Description Combine, minify, and compress your JavaScript projects, and update a Domino file resource design element... all with a single click
JSFactory for IBM Lotus Domino is a utility facilitating the consolidation and compression of multiple JavaScript source files into a single file resource design element.

As web sites and applications become increasingly complex and feature rich, a crucial factor in maximizing performance is keeping to a minimum the number of HTTP requests required in order to render each web page. JSFactory simplifies this process by reducing to a single click the effort required to combine all JavaScript files for an application into one, and optionally remove unnecessary whitespace, GZIP-encode the output, and/or update a file resource design element in the target application.

Complex web applications can also be difficult to maintain as the scope of the application-specific JavaScript increases. Often, developers must maintain either a single cumbersome source file or many smaller, more manageable component files; in the latter case, these files are either manually combined again later or referenced separately in the application's markup, negatively impacting the application performance. JSFactory alleviates this maintenance burden by allowing more manageable component source files to be kept separate during development, then seamlessly deployed to the application.

The result is an application that displays more rapidly to end users, consumes less network bandwidth, and requires less time and effort to implement and maintain.
