Apple Music with exclusive video content
by Volker Weber
With Spotify firmly in the lead, Apple is trying some exclusive content to get customers to subscribe to their offering. I am not convinced that taking James Corden out of the car will work. And this show?

I wonder why not Apple TV, which would make more sense to me.
That includes AppleTV, I believe.
Me neither. I mean: Didn't the kids have enough shit to choose from?
Yes, i use Spotify, AppleMusic, Tidal from Time to time to find new music, but if i love something i buy it and add it to my own library.
Taking a fun show like carpool karaoke and comerzialising it takes imho the fun part out of it. But it's probably just me getting to old to understand this kind of entertainement...
@Volker - Sorry, I meant the branding. Why brand a TV show like Dragons Den as available on Apple Music. Just seems strange to me.
Carpool karaoke is great, no doubt about it. I would love to watch it - however, subscribe to Apple Music only for this? Hmm....
Though I like Spotify, their interface, their playlists and especially the large selection of audio books... the real killer for Apple Music is that it is bound to your Apple ID and the stupid 90-days limitation. If you happen to use 2 different IDs from 2 different stores (e.g. US / GER), it becomes unusable. You cannot use the German ID for Apple Music and the US ID for movies and TV shows.... so, back to Spotify, Netflix & Amazon....
