How to download IBM Connect 2017 session presentations

by Volker Weber

Sketch

It's not easy, but it can be done.

  1. Go to https://myibm.ibm.com/ and log in.
  2. If you do not have an IBM ID, you can create one for free. Log in.
  3. Go to https://myibm.ibm.com/events/connect/all-sessions

Good luck though. There aren't that many presentations attached. All speakers had to upload their presentations before the conference, but IBM's processes aren't as smooth as they should be. And yes, same situation for everybody. Attendee or not.

Comments

Instead of https://myibm.ibm.com/events/connect/all-sessions in order to get the search UI shown above you need to go to:
https://www-304.ibm.com/events/tools/connect/2017ems/screens/presentations/presentationSearch.xhtml

In case you are wondering what Erik is referring to, there used to be a photo of a search form that has since been replaced.

This morning I received an email notification from Amanda Bauman (DeveloperWorks/IBM Social Business User Community) with a valuable link: "Connect 2017 Slide Decks"

Thank you, Giannandrea. That is a good source.

Note: The initial post by the ever lovely Amanda has been expanded greatly: from 20 to 82 presentations!

Great stuff Amanda!
