How to turn off Cortana

I like Windows 10, but I don't like Cortana. And it's quite easy to get rid of the daughter of Clippy. Just set your language and region to an unsupported combination.

I hadn't thought of that. I don't want Cortana, and couldn't figure out a setting to just turn it off. This is a clever trick.
