Are you using 3D Touch?
by Volker Weber
3D Touch a.k.a. Force Touch gives you a different set of funtions when touching something on the iPhone display. It feels like a "push through". There are rumors that a future iPhone might drop this feature to save cost. Apple had to re-implement it for the iPhone X's AMOLED screen. I probably would not even notice when it is gone. Do you ever use 3D Touch?

Never. and when I want to delete an app, I have to finetune my push. really annoying.
Also never used it and I second what Chris says about trying to delete an app with 3D Touch getting in the way.
3D Touch doesn't give you anything meaningful. No extra features, no time saving. It just adds complexity, something Apple always intended to avoid...
Only use it to position the cursor in text fields.
Don't use it as my SE does not support it. From the distance it seems to be replaceable by 'long touch', right?
Yes, I use it, quite often. In the podcast app mostly.
I use it to activate my Arlo cams when I’m leaving the house and for some settings in Control Center. It’s a nice to have feature, but I think it should be available on all iOS devices or nowhere.
Yes, using it mainly in the command center to enable persoal hotspot quickly and switch to airpods
All the time - how else could I EASILY edit text?
Same as on the iPad.
I use it almost never. I don't think I would miss it.
Using it often to open the context menu in the photos app and Safari.
Ich dachte erst, „fast nie“. Dann laß ich Cursor-Positionierung - ach ja, doch. Command-center, auch. Schnellwahl in App-Bereiche? Schon seltener.
+1 to only use it to position the cursor in text fields. But used a LOT.
I don't like the "same as the iPad" response - it is much easier to tap to specific characters on the iPad due to it being larger.
I'd be fine with losing 3D touch in text fields if there were cursor keys available on the iPhone keyboard when held vertically.
On homescreen i hate it because i never know how to delete apps/reposition icons. And especially on the homescreen i don‘t use the options offered.
Erik, put two fingers down on the iPad keyboard and see what happens.
two fingers on iPhone keyboard is not the same. i would miss 3d touch.
mostly because the cursor thing, but i use it also in other places.
Sometimes, but in very specific locations where alternative workflows can probably be established.
I use it often on the homescreen to open an empty safari tab directly from the homescreen. Alone for this functionality I would miss it a lot. In general I find the 3D Touch functionality in the homescreen very useful. The I use it in the command center. And of course i also use it for cursor positioning.
Apple, please don’t remove it!
Accidentally yes :).
All the time to access camera from lock-screen. Peeking-menus in messaging apps and photo app. Homescreen quick access to QR-Code for WeChat App here in China. Cursor.
Please do not remove!
Daily. To remove ALL notifications at once.
Vowe - I don't have an iPad to try on, but think I see what you are talking about after viewing videos. If I could use two thumbs to engage trackball mode on the iPhone keyboard then I would 100% good with that approach.
Call my favorite contacts from the phone app
I like the feature - and use it with some apps. Most apps don't support it in a way I would like or expect. So I guess I could live without it
Daily:
Bluetooth settings
Energy saving settings
