So many lies. No, Facebook, you don't want me to "review". You want me to opt-in to your data collection. And no, there are no messages waiting for me as your red dots indicate. I don't even use your messenger service.

So sieht das bei mir auch aus und ich hadere noch. Vom Handy ist facebook schon vor Wochen verschwunden und es tat gar nicht weh.
Markus, das ist wie mit dem Rauchen aufzuhören. Nur Vorteile, und nicht so schwer, wie man denkt.
Ich habe meinen Facebook-Account gelöscht. Und vermisse: Nichts.
Ich wundere mich, daß Du überhaupt noch einen Account hast?
Wie sollte ich sonst sowas wissen? Außerdem war es immer spannend zu sehen, für wie wenig Anerkennung sich die Leute dem aussetzen. "In der LH Business Lounge auf dem Weg nach TXL." ;-)
The red dot over the messenger icon is for their "stories" feature. If one or more FB friend posts to their "Story" today, you get the notification as if it were a message.
@Richard, no, I don't buy that. I can see that one of my "friends" has posted a story 3 hours ago (in the "Stories" box in the right column), but I never had a notification in the messenger icon. The only time I ever see a read dot there is when someone actually sends me a message.
It may have been a bug, but I've definitely seen it.
