Long time, no blog. It’s been a while since this blog has been active, and so much as happened since with HCL Notes Domino.
Well, in the middle of 2019 the HCL take over of Notes/Domino from IBM was finally completed. (If you’re still catching up on new links with HCL, bookmark this page Rainer Brandl kindly researched early on https://brandlrainer.info/2019/10/09/overview-of-some-important-links-hcl/)
Then the the second half of last year HCL delivered on their promise of major release for Domino releasing Notes 11, Domino 11, Traveler 11 and Sametime 11, and Verse on Premise 1.0.9. There really has been unprecedented activity in this space, more so than anything probably in the last 20 years. Let’s be honest, competitors have long written Notes epitaph, but we’ve been more energised by the developments in the last 12 months than in any time in memory.
For our own Business side, we seeing more and more innovative projects from our customers Domino Access Services, and integrating Domino with third party web services is a big space of development for us in the last year.
