OHD :: Lenovo ThinkBook 13s & Plantronics Blackwire C725
by Volker Weber
Two devices on her desk:
- Thinkbook 13s is a business machine with a matte screen which works well in an office environment. Great keyboard, aluminium body. The Core i7/16GB machine has proven itself as much quieter than the i5/8GB.
- Plantronics Blackwire C725 Binaural USB ANC Headset provides connectivity back to the office with Avaya softphone and Skype for Business. Binaural stereo sound and active noise cancelling.
KISS - keep it simple, stupid. That is why I chose a wired headset. Only works at the desk, but only needs to work there. No batteries to charge, no Bluetooth hassle. Inline remote for volume, mute and hook switch.

Skype for Business? We are talking about Teams, right? :-)
Not yet. Enterprise IT can be slow at times.
Yeah, loved the Blackwire. Just became tired of the cord since I like to stand and walk during meetings. After the Jabra Evolve 65 now using a Plantronics Voyager 6200 UC. Never saw the end of the 10+ hours talktime.
C725 is getting phased out by Plantronics.
Replacement is the Blackwire 7225
Love my C725, on my second one since the cord wore out and had some bare wires on the first one. Fortunately my office had a bunch in storage :)
Stop chewing on your cable. :-) I do that ALL the time, that is why I need to use BT.
Stehe auf dem berühmten Schlauch. OHD?

@Federico: On Her Desk vs. On My Desk - that's how the cool kids like Volker talk :)
Danke. :-)
Hallo, Volker.
