2021 Music Top Ten

2021 was another horrible year of the pandemic, but at least it produced some great music.  Rise Against put out one of the best albums of their career with Nowhere Generation.  Songs like Forfeit and Sudden Urge resonated so much and there really isn’t a bad song on the album.  Royal Blood had an insanely good album as well.  Killer grooves and great lyrics along with some unique videos meant this was on rotation nearly continuously this year. Pop punk is having another wave due to Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker kicking it off last year.  Lil Lotus, jxdn and Mod Sun all dove into that genre and made great albums.  Mod Sun even had arguably the best song of the year with Flames, his duet with girlfriend Avril Lavigne.  This list has some fantastic music, and if you want to hear the highlights of the Top Ten and the honorable mentions, you can check out the playlist on Apple Music.
