We are migrating from Sametime 3.1 to 8.02 and currently all three are on the same domino cluster but present awareness is not seen on the sametime 3 server from the 8 server. Does anybody know why this would be happening.

Assuming that all Sametime servers are using the same Directory for authentication, this sounds like a security setting. Whilst the users on the Sametime 8 server can not see presence awareness for users on the Sametime 3 server, can they initiate a chat session with them?
