Opportunity Profile:
The Global Messaging and ECM Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of Enterprise Messaging systems and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) services.
In this dynamic role, the Manager, Global Messaging and ECM will: ensure the full life cycle of these technologies as services are accountable for global application service delivery and innovation; optimize Messaging and ECM foundation technologies, while also defining these as business services with costs, metrics and OLAs; direct engineering of global messaging platform capabilities; successfully oversee multiple platforms with a combination of internally managed services and outsourced solutions; oversee a team of up to four individuals; lead, manage and mentor direct reports and their subordinates to optimal levels of performance with heavy emphasis on teamwork and organization; develop RACI, operations manual and communication matrix for all related platforms and technical services; introduce innovative solutions that will help provide the foundation for client’s next generation of business applications; and liaise with global Enterprise Application leadership team to ensure business system effectiveness.


Qualifications:
The successful candidate in this role will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience in people management. A minimum of five years Messaging experience is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Strong strategic, analytical and communication skills are required. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively in a global, fast paced and dynamic environment where goals and specifications are constantly changing and have demonstrated ability to partner with senior management staff in developing, enhancing and communicating product strategies. Candidates must have proven ability to lead or approve the direction of a wide range of diverse issues such as product direction, alternative implementation approaches, and resource negotiation and must possess time management skills, organizational skills, writing skills, and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
