What: tinyPL is a URL compression tool. It will shrink and brand any http:// or https:// string up to 1024 char in size.
Duration: URL's will be assessable as long as this site is online.
Terms: Be good! I do reserve the right to remove garbage entries.
Privacy: I have no plans to post the urls submitted.
Example:

How do I use tinyPL to minimize a URL? I don't see a link anywhere that looks like it will do that. The only place I see it is above the Search box, and I'm not sure what tinyPL has to do with searching.

Good question. Just take a long url and paste it into the search box and hit go. The submit will recognize that it is a url and will then branch to a page displaying the shortened url.

ipoint.to is a utility that allows users to shorten a long URL and share it. ipoint.to makes it easier to include the link in an email, blog or social network site without taking up too much space.
