It's happening again. A quick summary...

The Problem:
PL is unable to check Feedburner feeds during the day, due to Feedburner throttling.

Workaround:
The only known workaround at this point is sending me a non FB feed that does not resolve back to FB. Send it to me and it will have it in place ASAP.

Actions Taken:
I have scaled back the polling of FB feeds. If you would like to see your posts appear faster, please send me an alternative feed url.

Possible Resolution:
http://groups.google.com/group/feedburner-services/browse_thread/thread/2964a3649c8c7d7f#

Detail:

Feedburner is serving cached data to this server during the day. This can be seen on the front page. Every entry that has a . before the post time is from *feedburner. As you can see over the past week or so, no feeds during the day and then the flood gates open after or near 8pm.

I don't quite know how to address this. Im looking around feedburner.com; who do I call? Who to email? Do you as a user have the ability to report this? If all of us complain will it be heard? The IP of this server is 208.109.86.223, it is the only IP making requests. Please include this in your complaint to FB.

I do hit FB a lot, and as Chris Linfoot says, this isn't a problem for bloglines and netvibes, but that is known traffic, im sure they think the PL server is some sort of bot like annoyance.

Please post your thoughts below, anything will help.

Thanks in advance - Yancy.

* This could be misleading in the case where an entry was pulled from FB then, the publisher gave me a new feed to use.

UPDATES

I've gone to Chris' post and added my support.  Hopefully more people will do the same.  I know you put this on Twitter, and here in the forum, but you might want to blog it and link to Chris's post too.  That will hopefully help to get more people posting their support!

Here's another tip.

FB users, go to the uncommon uses page at FB and check the "known" checkbox next to any uncommon uses that mention Planet Lotus.

Don't know if it will help, but it can't do any harm.

Well PL is certainly listed in my uncommon uses, though it is checked as known.
