What: Nice Post. It's digg meets PL. It allows you to acknowledge a writers hard work and draw attention to an effort that might have other wise gone unnoticed. You can also use it to bookmark posts you'd like to reread in the future.
Where: On front page and myPL; soon to be added site wide.
When: Started late 9/12.
Why: Why not.
How: 1. Login or Register at myPL (link above). 2. Find a post you enjoyed reading. 3. Click the Nice Post icon on the front page or in myPL, that's it! You can then view all your Nice Posts in your 'nice' myPL view. Please remember the front page is rebuilt every 2 minutes, so anticipate a short wait. myPL, on the other hand, is based on live data.
Planed enhancements to Nice Posts and myPL:
- In myPL, removal of nice posts and more general management.
- In myPL, ability to more easly add blogs to your profile from all myPL views.
- Track posts you've commented on.
