My Lotus Notes screens have recently become a jumble of different languages.  Our installation is in English and I have no language packs installed.

Recently all the menus and buttons on various email forms have become jumbled in different languages.  My menus are now a mix of English with either German or Portuguese.  When I reply to an email, the reply form has buttons in English and German.  When I try and create a new meeting, the entire form is in Portuguese.

This problem has affected a number of my colleagues in our organisation at around the same time.  Notes has become almost unusable except for the few things I know without having to understand the meaning of the text.

Can anyone explain what has happened and how this problem can be rectified.

Thanks in advance.

could be a rights issue on the pc, multiple languages without the proper authority to work.  You could look for the language packs/files/settings, or wipe out the old version and do a fresh install.  I suggest using new program and data folders, then move over your personal data during setup
