I've worked for the IBM office of the CIO office for the past seven (7) years focusing on the IBM deployment of workplace technologies. It's been a great experience and I'm particularly proud of my recent efforts to help launch the "Workplace of the Future" initiative designed deliver the right IT services to employees to support IBM's 2015 roadmap.
In my new role as Technology Evangelist for Mobile Enterprise Services I'm focused on expanding IBM's mobile services to deliver mail, contacts, calendar, collaboration, social networking and business applications to a wide range of secure mobile devices including smartphone and tablets (e.g. Google Android, Apple iPad, etc.). With more and more enterprises focused on improving the productivity of mobile workers through technology, this promises to be an exciting space in 2011.

With the new school year comes a decision on what device(s) they'll use to do their school work - both in class and at hime. Android for Work announced at Google IO conference

Apple expands iOS 8 Enterprise Support at WWDC
Mon, Jun 2nd 2014 2:32p Christopher Pepin Earlier today, Apple kicked off their annual World Wide Developer's Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco. During the keynote session, Apple CEO Tim Cook and team provided details on the upcoming version of OS/X and iOS. Of particular interest to me are the new enterprise features in iOS 8. Last year, Apple introduced a wealth of enterprise features in iOS 7 and iOS 8, due out this fall, didn't disappoint. With over 4,000 new API's, iOS 8 is poised to be one of the largest upgrades yet.
