In one of my recent XPages applications, i had to develope quite a large form. The UI is based on the OneUI 2.1 Framework. Based on the values entered in the fields the form can grow pretty long, so when the users scrolls down to the bottom, the bar with action buttons like “save”, “forward”, etc disappeared on the bottom and the user had to scroll up again in order to klick one of these buttons.  Understandably this does not really improve the usability of an applicatio

In a recent XPages workflow application i bumped into a nasty behaviour of the xp:checkBox control: In a certain step of a workflow document, a checkbox is displayed as disabled, but still showing the checkbox state (checked or unchecked) which was set in a previous workflow step. When the user then submitted the data, this value will be cleared(!). Testing without proper data can be quite annoying and sometimes even impossible. I’m working on an application which consist of more than 5 different NSF files. All data are related to each other and linked with an unique ID. Manually copy / paste all the data is not an option, the chance to forget data and have resulting inconsistencies are too big. Another problem: productive data can grow very big (attachments, rich-text fields and so on), simply copy paste the nsf files may result in
