IBM aims to develop Asimov's positronic brain: according to Dharmendra Modha the aim is to build a 100 trillion synapse system fitting a two liter box, consuming less than 1 kW of power. A long way off, but interesting nonetheless. LMBCS code table for Windows , OS/2 and Unix The following tables lists the available LMBCS codes for Notes, their compose or key sequences (if any), and the characters they produce. The first table lists the characters you can create in Windows, OS/2, and UNIX; the second table lists the characters you can create on a Macintosh. (Note: The column 'Character' is not filled in some cases because of translation issues.) LM

Undocumented compose sequence for at-sign (@) found

The Notes Browser plugin is a wondrous product. But try inserting an at-sign(@) using an AZERTY keyboard... The solution is to use an undocumented compose sequence: -- means press ALT and hold, press F1 and release, release Alt. then type an a and an a. Hey presto, an @ sign appears!!
