About IBM Lotus Sametime 8.5.1.1 (#1450776) IBM Lotus announced October 2010 the availability of Sametime 8.5.1.1, a cumulative set of all fixes to help customers safely avoid known issues.
The Sametime client is unable to use audio video (1447891) Error is "Unable to initialize Computer, and it can't be used at this time. Required directory or configuration information is missing. Voice and video services will not be available. Please contact your administrator."
Sametime Proxy Server fail to install (1422352) There can be various conditions under which this message can appear in the logs, but one very common reason is if Multiple Primary Nodes are being used on a single machine.

IBM Lotus Sametime proxy server upgrade for IBM WebSphere Portal V7 IBM Lotus Sametime proxy server upgrade for IBM WebSphere Portal V7 allows you to connect to IBM Lotus Sametime and use its features in WebSphere Portal Version 7.0.0.1. This update replaces the Java applet-based connections to Lotus Sametime with a web service based solution. It uses a REST service on Lotus Sametime V8.5 or later proxy server. This new update works with Lotus Sametime community server V7.5.1 or later.

Policy regression issue with Notes/Domino 8.5.3 pubnames.ntf
Thu, Feb 2nd 2012 12:23p Mark Skurla Hello everyone, I want to make you aware of a Notes/Domino 8.5.3 template regression that we've found and how to get past it. Due to a fix for an SPR in the 8.53 codestream, we found a regression that would affect customer using policies with pre-8.01 clients. The effect of the regression is to have policy settings be in effect for pre-8.01 clients that should not be. 8.01 clients and later are not affected.
