One of the most successful innovations for Lotusphere 2011 was the IBM Social Aggregator, a central site that gathered social content from around the web relating to the event and displayed it in one easy-to-follow view.
Tweets, blog posts and video (both recorded and streaming) were all pulled into the site, making it much easier to gauge the overall sentiment from those following the event and ensuring no coverage is missed. Indeed the aggregator was one of the reasons that IBM won an important award from Mashable for their social efforts at the event.
The good news is that the Aggregator is back for Lotusphere 2012. With an all new look to reflect the theme for this year's event, it looks better than ever!
If you'd like your social content to appear on the site, make sure you join and submit your blog URLs and twitter IDs. There is a significant improvement this year in that posts only need to be tagged with 'ls12' or 'lotusphere' rather than have that tag within the post text. Get social, join the conversation!
IBM will be streaming live video from the conference on the site, so it is an essential location to follow if you cannot make it to Orlando this time!
Lotusphere becomes IBM Connect - Mission Completed
Thu, Sep 6th 2012 11:11p LotusphereBlog As many have predicted, this year IBM has completed the task of renaming Lotusphere as IBM Connect. Many of the favourite elements of Lotuspheres past will of course still be present, and IBM is making great efforts to ensure that the technical focus of so many of the tracks remains strong. Lotusphere has had a terrific history, an [read] Keywords: ibm

IBMers and Champions have been adding content over the last few weeks and will continue to build in that in the lead up to Lotusphere and during the conference. The communities are intended as an ongoing resource for attendees to use to get the most out of the confer [read] Keywords: connections
Social Business Online is now up
Thu, Jan 5th 2012 2:54a LotusphereBlog The latest iteration of Lotusphere Online is now available, and it's been renamed as Social Business Online with a rather nifty URL of socialbizonline.com (kudos from me for that!): If you are registered for either Lotusphere 2012 or Connect 2012 you should have received an email with user name/password details. It's always interesting to see what IBM delivers in the online site, even more so now there are ongoing communities in the Greenhouse as well. [read] Keywords: ibm
