I Used to live in Europe and had visited Prague often on business and I am looking forward to see how it has changed in the last 15 years. Connections Certified – Finally!
Thu, Jan 30th 2014 2:10p Victor Toal As if yesterday I am now finally IBM Connections certified:
I had had just no time previously but here at Connect the certification tests are all free for participants so I went for it – and past! It was about time too, having worked with Connections for the last 6 years not having a certification just seemed strange. I do not test well (my dyslexia makes it hard for me) but I guess doing all these crazy IBM Connections projects finally paid off.

Lotus Protector and the endless search
Wed, Jan 15th 2014 7:10a Victor Toal I have been helping a client with a new Lotus Protector setup and I ran into a new problem for the first time myself and as I can’t find anything on the web or in the documentation this is a prime candidate for a blog entry:
By default Lotus protector is accessible by two ports: https on port 443 for the admin interface and over https on port 4443 for the client access (e.g. the Notes client displaying your spam queue). I had never felt it necessary to change this before but my current cli [read] Keywords: admin

Tue, Dec 31st 2013 9:12a Victor Toal As far as blogging goes, 2013 was not my most productive … but this will likely change in the near future with some more regular posts and interesting technical tidbits I hope!
See you guys at Conenct 2014?

Since Stuart was foolish enough to announce to me he will be in town I immediately started on a social campaign to compel him to public drunkenness and anti-social behavior – so was born the idea of the IBMSocialBeerz ..
