the dates from you all for UKLUG 2012 just for fun! Until yesterday, we
actually didn't have them confirmed. But as Lotusphere closes, I can now
announce that UKLUG will be back in 2012 on;
3rd and 4th September 2012
As already announced, we'll be going
to Cardiff and we're happy to announce that we'll be at Cardiff University
as a venue. We'll be publishing more details about hotels / session abstracts

I have a shared database, that myself
and a few others are going to review some things in. It has commenting
and fields and all sorts of stuff. Good.
I have 500 entries I need to import,
that are in an Excel 2007 spreadsheet. Reviewing in Notes will be much
better than a collaborative document.
I shall import them to Notes. Oh, except
Notes won't import Excel files.
Export to CSV - nope, that doesn't work
right.

UKLUG 2011 - IMPORTANT - CHANGE OF DATES
Fri, Dec 17th 2010 10:30a Warren Elsmore At the end of ILUG last month, we announced
the dates for UKLUG 2011 in Manchester. I've now a very important announcement
that we have had to change the dates to:
23rd - 24th May, 2011
We'll still be at the same venue in
Manchester, but just slightly later. After announcing the dates for UKLUG,
we've realised that our dates clashed with at least two other major IT
conferences. Unfortunately, that gave us real problems not only in terms

UK NIGHT will be on Monday, 31st
January from 8pm to 10pm in the Shulas bar, Dolphin hotel

Announcing another conference for 2011 - A LEGO conference!
Tue, Nov 16th 2010 9:00a Warren Elsmore This one was announced a few weeks back,
but I didn't want to blog it until we'd also announced UKLUG
too! I had a conversation with a few LEGO employees and ex-employees all
the way back in February. If you came to my session at ILUG, you'll know
that there is a strong community of Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOL) around the
world. In fact, over in the US there are even a few very well attended
conventions for AFOLs.

Back from ILUG 2010 after a great week and the first time I got to present LEGO101 !

is in the can
...for anyone who followed me on twitter,
you'll be glad to know that although the van did make it back (just!),
after unloading 2 tonnes of A/V kit, it's now officially broken again
and will be going back to the hire depot tomorrow along with a little chat....

St Pancras Phase 2 - Update 6

Anyway, I've been building alot of this:Actually, an awful lot of that...12 48x48 stud baseplates, 10 16x32 baseplates and a few other odd parts. 6 Escalators, 2 bars, 1 half of a shopping mall...
