Nothing wrong with that. Fast paced page turners, no intellectual challenge, but really good. I guess I read about 20 of them.
If you're ever finished with Jack Reacher and want more, try any book by Matthew Reilly.
One advice: Do not watch the Jack Reacher movies. Hint: Tom Cruise impersonates Jack Reacher and IMHO, he is the exact opposite of what Child describes Jack Reacher in the books...

Fun fact: Arthur C. Clarke wrote a short story also named The Sentinel. It was this short story upon wich Stanley Kubrick based his idea of 2001. The book 2001, A Space Odyssey was only written during the movie shooting.
